The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed. Minor wear and a few pinpoint losses are to the corner-tips and extreme edges. Pinpoint accretions, drip accretions are scattered and an area of discoloration is to the upper right quadrant. Two small horizontal incisions are to the lower left quadrant in a light blue painted passage. A faint craqulure pattern is to the light blue background, visible only under raking light. Visible under ultraviolet light, tiny spots of inpainting fluoresce, most notably to the extreme edges and to a blue plate in the lower right quadrant.
