The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work has not been examined outside of its Plexiglas box frame. Minor wear is to the upper left corner-tip. Tiny accretions and small areas of discoloration are occasional, possibly in keeping with the artist's choice of medium. A small gap to the composition is near the upper right corner, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. A small pieces of straw is adhered to the lower right quadrant. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
