The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
A fine layer of surface dust is present. Very minor wear is to the corner tips. The surface of the panel is uneven, in keeping with the artist's working method. A few fine hairline drying cracks are occasional to the black passages, and a few gently compressed impasto peaks are also occasional. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
