The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the corner-tips and periodically along the edges, and the sheet undulates slightly. The sheet has shifted slightly in tone. Artist's pinholes are to the corner-tips and center edge. Faint creases and nicks are to the corner-tips and edges. Two tiny tears are near the lower right edge. Slight skinning is to the upper left quadrant, likely in keeping with the artist's working method. A pinpoint indentation is to the center of the bull's back. Three tiny spots fluoresce under ultraviolet light to the lower center edge, but do not appear to be inpainting. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
