The work has not been examined unframed. The sheet is hinged periodically at the edges to the backing board, undulates slightly and has shifted slightly in tone. A pinpoint spot of foxing is to the upper left corner tip, and another is just below center. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
