The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A wooden strip frame is affixed to the side edges of the canvas. The canvas is slightly slack. Faint rubbing and fine hairline tension cracking is to the corner-tips and turning edges. A tiny scuff is to the lower right edge in a cream painted passage and two accretions are to the lower left corner in a brown painted passage. A tiny loss is to the lower left extreme edge in a brown painted passage. A few fine abrasions and pinpoint accretions are occasional. An inactive mold pattern is to the reverse. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
