The work has not been examined unframed. The sheet is hinged periodically to the backing board at the corner tips and edges and undulates slightly. The upper and left edges of the sheet are deckled, and the lower and right edges are unevenly cut. Minor wear with a few tiny associated tears is infrequently to the extreme edges, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. Creases and stray media are throughout, also in keeping with the artist's choice of medium and working method. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
