The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the corner-tips. Minor wear and a few minute spots of rubbing are to the corner-tips and extreme edges. A tiny tear is to the upper center edge in a blue painted passage. A few pinpoint and fibrous accretions, pinpoint losses and drying cracks are occasional. A small area of cracking with a few associated losses is to the upper right corner in a red painted passage. Visible under close inspection and raking light, a few faint linear abrasions are to the upper register. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
