The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note, this work was originally one of four panels. The canvas is slack and undulates occasionally, most notably near the lower left quadrant. Minor wear is to the corner-tips and turning edges. A few fine linear abrasions are to the upper left corner in blue and black painted passages. Fibrous accretions and accretions are occasional. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
