The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the corner-tips and periodically along the edges. The edges of the sheet are slightly deckled, with associated minor wear, and the sheet has shifted slightly in tone. Faint creasing is to the corner-tips, most notably to the upper left corner-tip. A few compressed impasto peaks are occasional and a faint drip accretions is to the lower left quadrant in a yellow painted passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
