Minor wear and hairline cracking is scattered to the corner tips and turning edges. A few indents are along the extreme edges of both canvases, possibly in keeping with the nature of the stretchers. On the lower panel, the upper side edge is partially on the face of the painting. Hairline cracks are scattered in a few areas to the interior of the two canvases. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
