The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the upper edges and undulates very slightly. Artist's pinholes are to the lower corner-tips and edge and minor wear, a few tiny nicks and creases are to the corner-tips and extreme edges. A small loss is to the lower right corner-tip and two tiny tears are near the center lower edge. Another tiny loss is to the lower left corner in a gray painted passage. Creases are occasional. Visible under very close inspection and ultraviolet light, pinpoint accretions are scattered to the lower half register of the sheet. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
