The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed. The sheet is hinged periodically to the backing board along the corner-tips and extreme edges and undulates slightly. Artist's pinholes are to the center left and right extreme edges. Minor wear, handling marks, and creasing is to the corner-tips and extreme edges. A few tiny nicks are to the upper extreme edge and a few tiny creases are occasional, most notably near the center right extreme edge. Very minor wear is to the cut-out letters. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
