The side edges of the canvas are covered with tape. A faint layer of surface dust is present. Wear is to the edges and corner tips with associated hairline cracking and small losses. Hairline cracking is to the extreme and turning edges. A few surface irregularities are visible, presumably in keeping with the nature of the support. The canvas bows slightly at the upper right corner. A few small losses are to the lower right quadrant, near the lower right edge within the white passage. Under ultraviolet light, small passages of inpainting are occasionally, predominantly along the edges of the canvas.
