The artist

Stagnant Elixir’s Sweet is the first artwork from Obvious’ new series IMAGINE, a project combining MRI scanning technology, artificial intelligence, and the physical printing process to produce contemporary Surrealist artworks directly from the mind’s eye. The works are a result of new breakthroughs with machine learning technology that are capable of generating printed images directly from the imagination, without any text prompting. The entire process is detailed in a scientific paper published by Obvious in collaboration with Sorbonne University.
