The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed. Conservation tape is to the side edges of the canvas. Minor wear with pinpoint associated losses are to the corner tips and turning edges. A small loss is to the figure's hair. A few compressed impasto peaks are occasional, and a few impasto peaks have tiny pinpoint losses. Stray media is to the lower left edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
