The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A fine layer of surface dust is present. The canvas is slightly bowed. Faint rubbing, fine tension cracking and a few tiny transfer marks are occasionally to the turning edges. A few tiny drip accretions are occasionally to the right lower edge, possibly studio-related. Faint rubbing to an impasto peak is to the lower right quadrant in a white painted passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
