The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the corners. Soft creasing and handling indents are to the corners and edges. Rubs and smudges to the graphite media are visible in the margins, presumably in keeping with the artist’s working method. Small splatters are scattered throughout, possibly artist studio related. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
