Conservation tape is to the side edges. The canvas is slack. Canvas draws with minor fraying are to the corner tips. The work has a musty odor, likely from previous exposure to moisture, and has been cleaned. Minor wear with associated rubbing, hairline cracking and a few pinpoint losses is occasional to the turning edges. A faint stretcher bar impression with associated cracking is to the center left and left edge of the composition. Hairline cracking and nascent cracking is occasional, most notably to the central passages. Under ultraviolet light, a small spot of inpainting is near the upper left edge.
