The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed and the canvas is slightly slack. Tape is affixed to the side edges of the canvas and a very fine layer of surface dust is present. Minor wear and a few pinpoint losses are to the corner-tips and turning edges. A tiny scuff is to the center left extreme edge in a red painted passage. Visible under close inspection, a few faint linear abrasions are occasional, most notably to the blacked painted passages. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
