The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the corner tips, undulates slightly and has shifted slightly in tone. Minor wear and faint creasing are to the corner-tips with a few faint creases likely from the hinging in the upper left corner. Visible under close inspection and raking light, a small spot of skinning is to the upper right corner. A few faint handling indents and tiny nicks are occasional to the extreme edges of the sheet. Drying cracks are visible to some of the impasto peaks. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
