The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the upper corner-tips and undulates. The sheet has shifted in tone. Faint creasing is to the corner-tips and a tiny tear is near the center upper edge. A tiny indentation/nick is to the upper right edge. A faint linear abrasion is to the upper left corner. Very fine drying cracks are occasional. Hairline cracks, some with very slight yet stable lifting, are occasional. A small loss is to the lower right quadrant in a plum painted passage and another pinpoint one is to the lower left quadrant in a plum painted passage. A fibrous accretion is near the center right edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
