The work is structurally sound. Minor wear, faint rubbing, surface scuffs, fine surface scratches and a few pinpoint losses are scattered, most notably to the corners and extreme edges of the bronze bag. An abrasion is just above the signature to the lower edge of the side of the bronze bag. Accretions are occasional, most notably to the side edge of the bag with the artist's signature. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
