The canvas undulates very slightly and there is a faint stretcher bar mark with associated hairline cracking visible intermittently along the edges. There are mechanical and drying cracks in the center right in the black painted area. There is a faint rub at the lower center edge and a few pinpoint accretions in the upper left and lower right quadrants. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
