The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A wooden strip frame is affixed to the side edges of the canvas. Minor wear and faint discoloration is to the corner-tips and turning edges. Fine hairline cracks are occasional to the upper left corner-tip and left extreme edge. A small abrasion is near the center left extreme edge and a handling mark is to the upper center edge. Drying cracks are intermittent to the dark purple painted passages. A few losses are occasional, most notably to the left edge, and two fine hairline cracks are to the upper right quadrant. Visible under raking light, an area of radial cracking is to the upper right quadrant and a few nascent cracks are to the upper right quadrant of the dark purple painted passage. Pinpoint accretions are occasional. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
