The painted paper sheet is laid down on a larger sheet that is covered with a mat, and the larger sheet is laid down on Masonite. There is discoloration and foxing to the larger sheet beneath the mat and in the margins. The painted sheet has shifted in tone. Pinpoint brown spots of discoloration are scattered throughout the unpainted passages. A small possible loss is to the lower right center. A few impasto peaks are gently compressed and a hairline crack is to the white-pink area on the left edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
