There is stable cracking visible intermittently throughout the surface of the picture. There are intermittent losses and areas of wear visible at the extreme edges of the panel. Areas of inpainting are visible under ultraviolet light throughout the surface, most frequently appearing in association with the cracking in the crimson regions of the picture.
