The side edges of the panel are covered in tape and spots of lifting are occasionally to the extreme edges. Artist’s pinholes are along the upper edge and to the left corners. Minor rubbing with some associated discoloration is to some impasto peaks. Drying cracks are visible intermittently, and fine cracking with some associated minute losses are to heavier passages of paint. A few minute spots of lifting with associated losses are to the green passage in the upper right quadrant. Two hairline scratches are near the figure’s proper left ear. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
