The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes to the condition of this piece acquired after its initial period of manufacture.
- There is some light age-related surface wear as expected, some rubbing to the gilt, and some light scattered pitting to the enamels.
- There are some small scattered enamel losses including to the underside of the mouth rim and some scattered old wax infills.
- There is a small shallow enamel chip to the underside of the base, measuring approx. 0.4 cm. x 0.2 cm.
- There is a small dent to the gilt mouth rim.
