The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The vase itself is overall in good condition with some minor and typical rubbing to enamels and gilt. There is a flaw to the rootrim which is glazed over and therefore occurred during the making of the vase. The cover has two firing cracks to the inner rim and a small old chip to the outer edge of the rim. The finial is extensively damaged.
