The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This commode is in good overall condition.
The finish is slightly faded, this is a little more noticeable to the top, where there is a darker area to the centre.
The painted decoration in good order, probably of later date. The handles apparently original.
Very slight shrinkage and movement to the doors and throughout, notably there is a vertical crack to the right-hand door.
Minor chips and possibly old repairs to the veneers/banding, notably there are small losses to the vertical crossbanding to the edge of the rear left corner and to the right hand side.
Overall minor knocks, chips, scratches and wear consistent with age and use.
In generally good decorative and structural condition and ready to use.
