The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Paraffin, India ink and wash and ink on paper laid down on board. A few scuffs in places. A diagonal line of surface abrasion towards the right edge. Examined under ultraviolet light: no apparent retouching. It is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.

Paraffine, encre de Chine et lavis d'encre sur papier marouflé sur carton. Quelques rares éraflures par endroits. Une ligne diagonale d'abrasion de surface vers le bord droit. Examiné à la lampe à ultra-violets: pas de retouche apparente. Selon notre opinion cette œuvre apparait en très bonne condition générale.
