The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Charcoal and watercolour on wove paper laid down on card. The left and right sheet edges slightly irregular. Four pinholes towards the lower left margin. The lower left sheet corner with a short unobtrusive vertical crease. A few further soft creases to the sheet elsewhere. A few minute unobtrusive foxmarks towards the centre right. Minor light-staining. Minor surface dirt. The pigments are strong. Subject to the foregoing it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
