The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- some pale pinpoint foxing in the margins, associated with the mount staining.
- a tiny paper loss at the upper right sheet edge.
- a 5 mm. tear at te lower right sheet edge.
- a 10 mm. repaired tear at the lower left sheet corner, a few other shorter nicks at the sheet edges in places.
- some minor creases in the margins.
- remains of old paper hinges at the upper sheet corners verso.
