The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Each with surface wear and some flaking to the enamels, particularly to the lower portion of the bodies and to the rockwork bases; each vase with scattered small areas of restoration, including a few near the mouth rim and to the lower portion of the body near the base; one vase with an approx. 4 in. long, 2 in. wide area of restoration at the widest point of its body; each with large firing cracks to the bases; one cover with an approx. 2 in. long area restuck at the rim; the other cover broken in half and restuck; each snail restored.
