The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Notre tableau est sur sa toile et probablement son châssis d'origine.
A l'oeil nu, il est dans un bel état de conservation avec des beaux empâtements et une belle lumière. On ne constate pas de repeints visibles.
A l'UV, on constate quelques retouches dans le ciel. Le tableau a fait l'objet d'un nettoyage partiel au niveau du château. On constate des traces de vieux vernis dans les végétations et les arbres.
Dans un cadre en bois et stuc doré avec un cartouche localisant le tableau (approx. 84 x 108 cm.).
ENGLISH
Our picture is on its original canvas. It is probable that the stretcher is also original.
Under natural light, it is in a good state of conservation with well-preserved impastos and a beautiful light. We cannot see any visible restorations.
Examination under UV light reveals some retouching in the sky. The painting has been partially cleaned around the castle. We can observe traces of a historic varnish in the vegetation and the trees.
It is in a gilt wood and stucco frame with a label specifying the depicted site (approx. 84 x 108 cm.).
