The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description, with margins, the green attenuated, time and mat staining, binding holes in places at the upper sheet edge with associated repaired tears, a 11 in. vertical crease in the center image, three repaired tears in the margins (the largest measuring 11⁄2 in.), foxmarks in places (primarily in the margins), and other lesser defects.
