The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall structurally sound and ready to hang. A charming mirror. With scattered chips, small losses to carving and gilt surfaces revealing gesso, bole and bare wood in areas as to be expected with age. There is an old repaired break to proper right side of cresting. It has been re-gilt and there has likely been some re-gessoing, as it often the case with old mirrors. As stated in the cataloguing the mirror plate is a later replacement and has the typical surface scratches, marks and some foxing/ minor losses to silvering.
