The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

-Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of use commensurate with age, including some abrasion marks.
-Additional marks: London assay office mark, English date letter for 1958, 750.
-Lapis lazuli: with typical appearance, including visible pyrite. A few chips.
-Emerald: with typical inclusions, surface reaching and chips. A few fissures more visible.
