The well-known Geneva jeweller Jean Lombard (1912-1988) stepped into the luxury world in 1936. Predominantly influenced by the Renaissance, he focused his entire career on giving a new life to old jewellery and creating imaginative pieces. It was after World War II when he met Carl Théodor Fabergé, the grandson of Peter Carl Fabergé. From their twenty-year collaboration, many exquisite and remarkable jewellery pieces were created for the most educated clientele, such as Her Majesty the Queen Frederica of Greece and His Majesty the King Farouk of Egypt.
