The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

-Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear commensurate with age, including abrasion marks. Fitted with double pin clip back and safety catch.
-Additional marks: French maker's mark (unidentified), MADE IN FRANCE.
-Rubies: with typical inclusions, several surface reaching, visible cavities and abraded surface.
-Demantoid garnets: with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, abraded surface and some chips. -Emeralds: with typical inclusions, some surface reaching and a few chips.
-Diamonds: on average SI clarity. Colour cannot be gauged due to the colour of the mounting.
-Coloured diamonds: bright and lively.
