The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition: good. Shows signs of normal wear, some scratches and traces of tarnish. One round sapphire is deficient on the earring. Pin on brooch is slightly bent.
- Additional mark: gold (French) earrings.
- Fitting: earrings with clip fittings, for non pierced and pierced ears; brooch with single pin and safety catch.
- Coloured diamond: 2 round diamonds with total approximate weight of 0.50 - 0.60 carat, yellow colour, mostly SI clarity.
- Diamond: 84 round diamonds with total approximate weight of 1.00 -1.50 carat, on average H-I colour, mostly SI clarity (some I clarity).
- Opal: very good play-of-colour, with a few typical inclusions, in very good condition.
- Emerald, sapphire, ruby: with a few typical inclusions, surface reaching and abrasions on facet junctions.
