The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition: commensurate with age. Traces of solder marks, chips and breakage to ring band.
- Sapphire: 1 cabochon sapphire with approximate weight of 28.00 - 30.00 carats, with typical inclusions, surface reaching and a few chips; to reverse within mounting, the sapphire is with matte finishing and visible surface-reaching/chip.
- Diamond: 20 triangular and round old-cut diamonds with total approximate weight of 0.60 - 0.70 carat, H to I colour (some L colour), SI to I clarity.
