The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- Overall condition good. Some small scratches to the metal, consistent with normal wear. Clasp secure, with safety catches.
- Additional marks: French assay mark for 18 carat gold, indistinct maker's mark to the tongue, possibly for Verger Frères.
- Rubies: with typical natural inclusions, some eye visible and surface reaching, well matched, small abrasions and nicks. A few more noticeable nicks to the reverse.
- Onyx: in good condition overall, two with larger nicks and small area of abrasion.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 7.00 - 8.00 carats, assessed to be on average G to H colour, VS clarity, a few SI clarity.
