Gérald Genta è davvero uno dei più grandi progettatori e designer di orologi di tutti i tempi. Essendo dietro al design di alcuni dei più grandi e leggendari orologi del secolo (Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, Patek Philippe Nautilus tra gli altri), il suo talento ha lasciato un marchio permanente nell’universo dell’orologeria.
Per la sua omonima linea, Genta è ricordato per aver ottenuto per diversi anni consecutivi a metà del 1990 il record mondiale per aver creato gli orologi più complicati al mondo, il suo capolavoro fu il “Grande Sonnerie".
Su una nota più stravagante, Genta invece creò un’edizione limitata per la Disney con orologi raffiguranti Topolino, Topolina, Paperino, Zio Paperone e Pippo.

Gérald Genta is truly one of the greatest watch designers of all time. By being behind the designs of some of the century's most legendary watches (Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, Patek Philippe Nautilus amongst others), his talent has left an enduring mark in the watchmaking universe.

For his own eponymous line, Genta was remembered as the world record holder for consecutive years in the mid-1990s for creating the world's most complicated watch, his masterpiece the "Grande Sonnerie".
On a more whimsical note, Genta created a limited edition of Disney wristwatches featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Scrooge and Goofy.
