拍品的状况可能存在极大差异，而由于其性质使然，拍品难以处于完美无瑕的状态。拍品均以拍卖时的状况出售。

- Overall condition: good. Shows normal signs of wear, light scratches and traces of tarnish on gold.
- Additional marks: unidentifiable maker’s mark (JL).
- Diamonds: main diamond for an approximate weight of 2.0-2.5 carats and remaining diamonds for a total approximate weight of 0.20-0.25 carats. Approximate total diamond weight of ring: 2.5-3.0 carats. Bright and lively.
- Sapphires: approximate total sapphire weight of ring: 0.5-1.0 carats. With typical inclusions, a few surface-reaching and chips (one of which is important on a cabochon).
