This brooch was a gift from Princess Marguerite de Bourbon Parme born Princess of Denmark (1895-1992).

Maria Pia of Savoy, born on September 24, 1934, in Naples, is the eldest daughter of King Umberto II of Italy and Marie-José of Belgium. A member of the House of Savoy, she became, through her marriages, first Princess of Yugoslavia and later Princess of Bourbon-Parma.
