The panel has been cradled. There is an addition or replacement triangular segment to the upper right hand corner of 5 cm. width at the widest point. The panel remains stable. Examination in natural light shows some small paint losses to the upper edge. There has been some thinning to the upper level of paint glaze. There is some scattered retouching, most noticably to the pale tones. There is an old varnish that carries some dirt. Examination in UV light confirms the aforementioned scattered retouching. The modelling of the face and costume remains fully appreaciable.
