The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Inspection under UV reveals an unevenly cleaned varnish layer with scattered individual touches of inpainting in the background and to the edges. There are also scattered individual touches to the figure's coat, trousers, and chair.
