The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Hairline craquelure is noted throughout. Ultraviolet light examination reveals scattered inpainting throughout. Inpainting is more concentrated along the edges of the canvas, on a horizontal line running through the center of the canvas, a vertical line running down the canvas approximately seven inches from the right edge, and another approximately seven inches from the left edge. A few repairs are noted on the reverse with associated inpainting. The canvas appears to be wax-lined.
